Post-It 001
small & sticky
At the laundromat across the street, notes reading “don’t work” in neat script mark machines you should skip. Some of them have been fairly used, evidenced by sun-faded colors and curled corners. Recently, I spotted three of them not in the window of a washer or dryer, but on a wall—waiting for another glitch, or perhaps marking the end of one.
I’m starting these bite-size “post-its” between the longer musings to share upcoming projects and on goings:

First, I’m thrilled to share I’m the latest poet featured as part of Send Me Press’s fantastic series of postcards. Edited by Kate Gibbel, the project very much aligned with the spirit of this newsletter, I’m thrilled to have a little Metro North poem, circa 2015/2016, “2:15.” For $4, you can get two—one for you and one to send, of course.
Tonight (5/12) at 7:30 ET I’m reading as part of Brooklyn Poets “Staff Picks” series alongside Seth Leeper, Binx Perino, C. Quintana, Cynthia J. Roman-Cabrera and Mya Spalter. (Here’s the Zoom link to register!). Expect some new things, some old things, some gay things. Thanks to renée kay for the invite :)

This Saturday, I’ll be doing verbal description for Yo-Yo Lin’s channels v1 at Brooklyn Arts Exchange. I’m so excited to collaborate with Yo-Yo again!
Keep taking care of each other, let me know if you need anything.
